Because I got my ass kicked doing OHS yesterday, the shoulder was a bit wonky.
None-the-less I finished...

damn bubonic plague
Sickness != Fun.
So I guess 5 years is long enough of a run without getting sick... so I was due... and it wasted me, for over a week.
Now that i'm on the upswing, its time to get back into training.
AM Session: So weak. So, so so weak. Worked up to Backsquat 235x5, and it was heavy.
Benchpress worked to 225x5/4/3/2/1.
PM Session:

15 Ab Mat Sit-ups

All KBS/Sit Ups were un broken... but that damn AM bench session sure snuck up on me in a bad way! :)

Running a little down on sleep since the midnight release of Battlefield 3.... But decided I needed to go to the gym and stop being such a puss bag.

Annnnnd he's back!
Well... after a full week of drinking and eating like complete and utter shit... i have returned from the land of the elderly.
Long story short: It rained, it was a lot of work, food/drinks were good, hotel was nice.
Got home friday night... and of course... party on Sat.... Happy bday Serge!
Sunday was Barbells for Boobs down at CFCM.... in costume.
Sporting the cowgirl outfit scored me a PR of grace 1:59.
Today was my first day back to the gym... woo!
Because both my ankles are still screwed I did:
5 rounds of:
10 G2 Shoulder with the 115# stone
15 plate pushups
20 pullups.
12:15 ; felt pretty good, pull-ups were def my slowest... need to learn how to control the butter as I get more fatigued....
Now... off to a midnight release of Battlefield 3 and pulling an all-nighter playing video games!

resssst day, well kinda.
Protein shake for breakfast this AM.... Damn you SFH protein, you taste like DRAIN-O.
Tonight was a rest night, but I decided to come in and work on some goats.
Took my time and worked up to a heavy 1RM squat clean thruster, got 215. failed at 225.
Then played around with free standing HSPUs... tonight I couldnt even get 2 in a row... so much for PRing that!
And then I tried some max distance hand stand walks... PR @47' !
now, if I could get this friggen iPhone iOS5 Update to work... id sleep well..

Walked in thinking I was just going to do bulgarian... but of course, that didn't work..

Front Squat: 1x225 / 1x2 @ 210#
Post WOD shake / steak tips + corn/cauliflower for dinner.
Now maggie is heating up apple crisp.... bad things are about to happen.

Paintball = Fun
Once again, no breakfast. ...
Today is the first rest day of the bulgarian program, so met con it was.
Had a really fun one with Brian:
3 rounds for time of:
20 Pullups
30 Pushups (Competition Standard)
20 Ground-2-Shoulder large atlas stone (115#?)
500m Row.
Time: 19:10
Fun WOD for sure. Haven't done pull-ups in a little while... but something clicked with my butters. my 1st and 2nd set were unbroken, and quite fast. The atlas stones felt great. Missing some skin on my forearms, but what a killer movement.
Then onto paintball with some friends. Nothing beats shooting people :)

Light Weight buddy!
Eh... felt like crap this morning but showed up anyway...
Worked to max OHS. Worked to 195# but failed 3x... Really close to getting this. Did get 185.
Worked to max full clean/jerk PR @235#. Obviously what sucks the most for me is the squat clean.
Worked to max Front Squat... smoked, made it to 230#.
then front squat 3x2@ 210#
Went to the Beast of the East with Brian. Got to see some monsters work out, looked like a lot of fun to be out there.
On the way home from BotE... we got double downs... yeah... KFC... yah..

Damn Dirty Bulgarians.
First off... Brian turned me on to this video. And it's epic.

Today is day 1 of the Bulgarian strength circuit.
for the first cycle i'm replacing snatch with OHS...
DAY1:
OHS:
5 sets of 1 rep @165#
3 sets of 2 reps @140#
2 sets of 3 reps @135#
Full Squat Clean / Jerk:
5 sets of 1 rep @ 200#
2 sets of 3 reps @165#
Front Squat:
2 sets of 1 rep @220#
2 sets of 2 reps @210#
Was a lot of volume.. and took a long time. All in all it went well. In the future id like to split these strength sessions to the AM and Metcon in the evening...if I can find some more time in the days.
Dinner: Clams / Haddock / Sweet potato fries.
..Hopefully a beer as well... :)

Today I ate like shit. No breakfast. Subway for lunch (3pm) Some thai at around 5, and 4 cookies + a beer.
So sore from the previous days took a 15m ice bath.
