back at it...

Today was time to start the bulgarian day 1...
Because I got my ass kicked doing OHS yesterday, the shoulder was a bit wonky.
None-the-less I finished...
Night session:
"Angie" 14:18 rxd. (PR)  Got a chance to max out on pullups as well.. 52. (PR).

Now hopefully I don't get DOMS.... that bad... :)

Morning Session:  Just worked with Mike on some lighter squat cleans

30 Deadlifts (155/115lbs)

20 Deadlifts
20 Pull-ups

30 Pull-ups
13:50 rxd.
RUns were... slow... slow slow slow. But I ran, so thats a plus. Still not even close to being back. Im basically crippled from squats yesterday... Can't believe it!

damn bubonic plague

Sickness != Fun. 

So I guess 5 years is long enough of a run without getting sick... so I was due... and it wasted me, for over a week.

Now that i'm on the upswing, its time to get back into training.

AM Session:   So weak. So, so so weak. Worked up to Backsquat 235x5, and it was heavy.
Benchpress worked to 225x5/4/3/2/1.

PM Session:
WOD: “Mudslinger”
9 KB Swings (70/53lbs)
12 HR Push-ups
15 Ab Mat Sit-ups
15min AMRAP
10 rounds + 16 reps rxd. Blah.  
All KBS/Sit Ups were un broken... but that damn AM bench session sure snuck up on me in a bad way! :) 
Really looking forward to hitting the training hard for the next couple months.
Breakfast: Muscle Milk 
Lunch: Chicken Basil (thai)
Dinner: Baked Haddock

Running a little down on sleep since the midnight release of Battlefield 3.... But decided I needed to go to the gym and stop being such a puss bag.

6 Deadlifts (225/155lbs)
12 Pull-ups
24 Double unders

Took my time on most everything till the last round... Crazy amount of people in class tonight... 28?! nuts!
Also ripped, bad... nothing like 220 pull-ups in 2 days...  Hopefully it doesn't affect my sniping in battlefield :)

Annnnnd he's back!

Well... after a full week of drinking and eating like complete and utter shit... i have returned from the land of the elderly.

Long story short: It rained, it was a lot of work, food/drinks were good, hotel was nice.

Got home friday night... and of course... party on Sat.... Happy bday Serge!

Sunday was Barbells for Boobs down at CFCM.... in costume.
Sporting the cowgirl outfit scored me a PR of grace 1:59.

Today was my first day back to the gym... woo!

Because both my ankles are still screwed I did:
5 rounds of:
10 G2 Shoulder with the 115# stone
15 plate pushups
20 pullups.

12:15 ; felt pretty good, pull-ups were def my slowest... need to learn how to control the butter as I get more fatigued....

Now... off to a midnight release of Battlefield 3 and pulling an all-nighter playing video games!
Who says you need to grow up???

resssst day, well kinda.

Protein shake for breakfast this AM.... Damn you SFH protein, you taste like DRAIN-O.

Tonight was a rest night, but I decided to come in and work on some goats.
Took my time and worked up to a heavy 1RM squat clean thruster, got 215. failed at 225.

Then played around with free standing HSPUs... tonight I couldnt even get 2 in a row... so much for PRing that!

And then I tried some max distance hand stand walks... PR @47' !

now, if I could get this friggen iPhone iOS5 Update to work... id sleep well..

SFH Protein shake this AM... all I can say is, I really wish I didn't go vanilla, gross.

No morning WOD... all in the PM.

Walked in thinking I was just going to do bulgarian... but of course, that didn't work..

Heavy ass helen:

21 KB Swings (bell over handle) 70#
12 Chest-2-Bar pullups

10:33.  Really thought I had a chance of catching Bri when I saw him put the KB down... then I realized my C2B's are god awful.

Post WOD Bulgarian day 4:
worked to OHS 1x160#  / 2x2@145#
Full Clean/Jerk: 1x195 / 2x2 @ 165#
Front Squat: 1x225 / 1x2 @ 210#

Post WOD shake / steak tips + corn/cauliflower  for dinner.
Now maggie is heating up apple crisp.... bad things are about to happen.
